We play regularly at ALbert Music Hall in Waretown, NJ. I also perform at least once a month on the Heartlands Hayride, a weekly radio show modeled after the early Opry on WDVR in Hunterdon County. I'm an expert on playing fiddle tunes on the harmonica, and on the rest of the instruments I'm competent, but occasionally clumsy. I like to sing, too, and my tastes frun from Old-time to early bluegrass and early country-western, also fiddle tunes from Canada, Mexico and Scandinavia. Styles/Influences, Other Info: My favorite fiddlers, whose various styles I struggle to keep straight in my mind, include: Ernie Carpenter, Burl Hammons, Tommy Jarrell, Emmett Lundy, and Richard Bowman. On the banjo I don't think anyone can touch Fred Cockerham, but Kyle and Tommy are pretty great, too. Also love Frazier and Patterson, Joe and Odell Thompson, Roane Mountain Hilltoppers, Jim Bowles, Roger Cooper, Buddy Thomas, Henry Reed and most of those Eastern KY lads.
